Need A New Headphone.

Hi,

For the past year or so, I have been using the Sennheiser HD 202 headphones, after listening too in-store trials at BestBuy I wanted to upgrade to a better audio and comfort pair of headphones.

Budget- $200 - $220.

Usage- Youtube, Gaming, On The Road Movie Watching.

Wants- Good quility Audio, Good Base, Very Comfy, Solid Construction, And If can fit the bill have a little noise canceling.

I have been looking around found the v moda lp2 crossfade headphones, audio technica ath m50 and the beyerdyanmics custom one pro. But i'm open to anything.

Thanks

I think the M80 on-ear and ATH-M50 would be my recommendations.  The LP2 sounds a bit too artificial to my ears.

What about the beydynamics custom one pro

I have not heard it and it receives mixed reviews here:

I have not heard it myself so I cannot comment on how it compares to other headphones I own.

SoundMAGIC HP100

or

AKG K550 (if you have a big head)

The Audio Technica ATH-A900X is also a potential choice, but it is slightly outclassed by the above two.

The best (closed) headphones in the price range.

+1 for K550!

I must admit the K550 is an awesome headphone nearly reaching the audio quality from the Denon AH-D2000 I own.  If you can stretch the budget to $250 the K550 is well worth it.

+2
