For Sale:
Violectric V100 - Like New - Under Warranty

Will Ship To: CONUS

For Sale is a Violectric V100 Solid State headphone amplifier that I purchased end of last year. It still has 1 year plus left on two year warranty.

I paid $700 + for it last year when Euro/ USD conversion rates were a bit better.

The amplifier is in PERFECT condition. Amp has only been used on my desk at work. Well cared for. I use it for maybe an hour a day so with burn in maybe 150 hours of use. Amp is mint. Comes with users manual and power cable and will be packed in the original foam coffin.

It is a very powerful headphone amp with a full bodied, linear tone.

I am only selling it because I need the cash for expenses (car repairs) that are piling up.

That said I am not interested in trades, because that doesn't pay my mechanic.

Price is $500 all in with Paypal fees and shipping covered within the CONUS.

Local pick up available to LA/ OC buyers. International shipping available but buyer pays difference in shipping.

OMG I want this so bad.

What DAC did you use with this? What headphones have you tried?

I usually use a Rega DAC but also had a Firestone Spitfire for a long time that sounded pretty awesome too. I tried using the DAC in my Pure i20 dock but after using the Rega for so long it sounded pretty digital.

As far as headphones.... Right now Audeze LCD2's and also used Hifiman HE400's for awhile... This amp sounds stunning with Planars... Also have used Denon D5k's, JVC DX700, Fidelio X1's and Senn HD650's. All sounded full bodied and amazing.

Also had Grado 326's for awhile, didn't enjoy the Grado's as much as the HD650's or DX700 but I am a bit of a basshead so Grado was a bit too fast for me.

Overall amp has tons of current and 4 gain stages so it'll work with 600 ohm and 300 ohm phones without breaking a sweat but has less than 1 output impedance so is very potent with lower resistance phones.

Sound is natural, linear... No bloat but plenty of weight... Fast and detailed but no sharpness or sibilance... It is a very well balanced amp and has a very good soundstage for headphones.
