Can anyone recommend a source for a decent mini-mini stereo cable to allow connection of a PCDP lineout to a portable amp.

are we talking 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack plug for copying to minidisc etc?

erm.. if so, I got mine from an independent shop in Gloucester, and... its thicker than most Phono cables... and I don't appear to have any problems with RF interference...

It cost me about £18 two years ago... so, this is probably of no use to you whatsoever, but... they DO exist (but... its unbranded... just looked at the sleeving... so even that doesn't help - Sorry)

Try Tandy's and B&Q, I have seen them so I am sure you can get them, try the Sony centre too.

Of course there's always Maplins and your local Dixons. Actually any decent hi-fi/electronics shop should stock such an item.

I asked about this when I was ordering some stuff from Russ Andrews recently, as their catalogue lists a Kimber PBJ mini-to-RCA. The reply was that they would have to 'make one up' especially. Might be worth pursuing, though.

you could get 2 of those 3.5mm jack plugs / phono stereo pair connectors, and then use any normal hifi interconnect.
