What's the most important : soundstage or audio positioning for competitive gaming ?

Hi all !

 

I play a lot of competitive FPS on my pc : Crysis Wars, CoD BO2 and others

 

I'm new in this site and i don't know choose with a future Asus Xonar Essence ST between these headphones .

 

- Audio Technica AD 700 ~110 euros

 

- Beyerdynamic DT 770 ~ 150 euros

 

- AKG K 701 but i find him to exensive the best price on internet in french sales site is 205 euros angry_face.gif

 

- Sennheiser PC 360 ~ 150 euros

 

 

The Audio Technica is famous for have the best soundstage with Dolby Headphone.

 

The Beyer DT770 is famous for have the best audio-positioning with DH.

 

The Akg is famous for have the best details clarity with DH.

 

So what what the most important criteria for buy a headphone just for competitive ?

Check the website Thomann for headphones.

I believe for FPS gaming audio the more correct term is Surround Sound,

SoundStage is a term more used for music audio.

 

The Essence STX is usually cheaper then the Essence ST.

Up please

 

I think I will choose the AD700 because i I hate to hear the bass explosion of grenade, c4, semtex in fps it's It is already bad with my cheap logitech speakers 2.1
