WA6 suitable for orhtos?

Hey guys, I purchased a Woo Audio WA6 from Addicted to Audio and im currently very happy using it to drive my denon d2000's and hd600s. Now in the near future i plan to purchase a pair of orthos (most likely the audeze lcd-2) The guy in the store said the amp would be more then adequate to drive lcd-2s however after reading threads on here people say you need 2 watts per channel minimum output from the amp. To make this clear this is the WA6 not the WA6-SE so it is only able to put out 550mw at 60 ohms. So would purchasing an LCD-2 to use with this amp be a good idea?

It should work. Though ideally you should have at least 1W at 50 ohm but that isn't a compulsion, that is recommended though. 2W is optimum.

bump, two well respected people skylab and headphoneaddict seem to enjoy the combination, but what exactly will i be missing out on if i use an lcd-2 or he-500 with the wa6 what does the additional power do?
