Lots of things can trigger childhood memories, from smells to sights and sounds. But for me, nothing says nostalgia and "childhood" like cotton candy. What food brings you back?
Food that reminds you most of your childhood
Right now is berry season here in the UK Folks are picking on the roadsides and taking me back. We'd ride our bikes out to the fields and eat them right off the bush, nothing more fresh!
And berries are awesome! What a great way to get our antioxidant fix, and I always feel better knowing that my brain cells are being protected from damage from free radicals!

Ah, stealing berries brings back memories. Had an aunt who lived nearby and was always complaining about the rabbits in her garden. Little did she know...
Berries are the brunt of my carbs right now. Put them in a blender with some ice, protein powder, chia seeds and give it a whirl.
That sounds like a nice desert!
The holidays are here and it's time to break out those winter favorites!
Sometimes I drive my wife nuts because I tend to be very conservative with deserts... for instance a simple hot apple pi with vanilla ice cream is near perfection for me.
