My $3000 CDN tweak to make MG Head portable

Hi all;

After a near miss running in the dark icy Canadian winter, I bought a treadmill. Figure it cost more than the clapped out camero that almost hit me, but cheaper than an ipod and traction.

For fun I put on my HD 600s, fired up the MG Head and went runing with Roxy Music.

Quite fun after you get used to the fact that you don't have to be aware of your surroundings. Off to la-la land.

So forget tube rolling-we're talking rolling stock

??? What kind of treadmill is this? Some gold plated one with silver tracks or something? I don't think we paid more than $400US for our treadmill...

Most treadmills people buy are limited to capacity, like about 250lbs or less. I weigh enough to flatten these, so I have to go to a gym.

They have NICE treadmills. I am willing to bet the gym treadmills easily cost 5 figures USD. So $3k ain't much!

Two points-$3000 CAD is about 11USD

I'm 6'8" and weigh 300 pounds.I'd mash most normal machines. I wasn't kidding about rolling stock!

Matthew, isn't it funny how those near death experiences change your perspective? I'm glad that you found a way to keep running.

Now you can safely run with Etymotics.
