It's an excellent demonstration of how essential equipment matching can be. If only I wasn't using custom earphones, I could show others how much this matters, too.
Quick question: as I believe tou auditioned both when visiting Hiddition, why did you choose nt6 pro over nt6?

I wanted something with emphasized highs and lows to compensate for the rolloff that usually occurs at the low volumes I usually listen at.

 

To my mind the dominant difference in character between them was the emphasis at the highs and lows. If you do not want a pronounced U-shaped EQ at conventional (or loud) levels, I recommend the NT 6 (non-Pro) instead.
