I agree that the spool case could be a problem. The first time I used it with my e2's...and then e3's, I thought it bent the "Y" portion of the cable more than it should have. Therefore, my case(s) were never used. It also seemed like a lot of dinking around to get them in the case.

A great case is the clear plastic container that 3M electrical tape comes in (the good stuff). It's slightly larger, just strong enough to sit on, water resistant, and best of all...kind-of free. I even tape my e3 cleaning tool to the inside of the lid so I have it if it's needed.

Find it here...there's a picture on the right side (looks yellow). The case is clear, the yellow label is a cardboard disk inside that can be removed.
