i dont have earphones ..used to have senn MX170 .. planning to buy an headphone or an IEM .. does sennheiser have good SQ ? (max $60) or any other ones in this small budget ..

Maybe he shoud go with the good ole E17 used here for $110 or so. That way he's got a DAC that will increase quality and an amp for when he needs it. Kill two birds with one stone!

Sorry I'm not familiar with the lower end Sennheisers. I think for headphones in that price range the JVC S500 and Creative Aurivana Live are highly recommended, as is a Koss something. For budget IEMs Vsonic is hard to beat.

I am not sure about the import duty thing of INDIA (Outside US).
I dont know anything about shipping.

I have an EMU 0404 USB and the neat thing about that device is that it can use USB, coax or optical and I have used both USB and optical and heard no sound difference. Thing is with optical out from MB I don't have to install EMU drivers but right now do have it connected to a laptop via USB.
