Yeah for some reason when I was reading their website the other day I thought I read that the USB card has an independent DAC section.

Oh well that puts Bifrost Uber back on the table, albeit a little more expensive with the Gen2 upgrade

That's a beast of an amp and should really make the AD sing. Congrats man...

So the Uber Board is the part of the DAC which receives input from optical and converts it into analogue signal.
And the GEN2 USB board takes the digital signal from the USB and does the conversion to analogue signal independent of the Uberboard.

EDIT: Ahh seems like I must be not understanding it correctly  The Uber card effects the output of both.

Best $78 add on you can do.

I heard this thing with Cavalli Liquid Glass which Mr. Speakers brought.  I give SilverEars thumbs of approval on the Dogs, very nice closed backs.

Hey Dan can you give me an ETA of when April 20th orders will be starting to ship, so anxious!

Should be this week.

If I may, I would appreciate people not enquiring about ship dates by email, we're doing our best, but every request takes time to answer, and I have to lookup orders, etc.  I'd rather be working on product...  I hope to be "in stock" on Alphas this month.

Schiit Asgard 2. I am using this amp. Burson soloist SL. I used this amp for several months. Schiit Lyr - seems everyone else uses one... I've heard the combo a few times, and have been teetering on the brink of getting one. Seriously, if money is tight, check out the Asgard 2. It is surprisingly good.

I just use the cheaper Modi/Magni with my Alpha Dogs. Sounds good to me.
