V2 allows you to add, I could go balance RSO/ALO ect. Go to image and you can see what the V2 can do.

SQ depend on the Amp.

Are there any other options under $700 closed headphones that compare the the ADs before I get these I would like to see every option available. Also is there a video out there that can show the sound leakage of the ADs?

trust me dude, there are none as comfy, good sounding and better value, I been looking for a while. if you dont want to fork 600 then you could always try the MD or MDP to see if you like it.

dont feel like you have to buy it, I feel like you being pressure to buy it. This phone isnt for everyone, bass head will not like the sound. It gave me enough bass but someone who love rap and hard hard bass wont like it as much.

It's so true. None of the dogs leak. I suppose if you have glasses that prevent a good seal it might.

It's a blessing and a curse because the isolation is equally as good and the wife doesn't appreciate having to physically get my attention when I have them on.

I ordered the 4-pin XLR cable. Where can I find the adaptor or the matching male 3.5mm plug for this? I'm planning to pair these cans to an ALO or iBasso portabale amps and AK100 MkII. Mr. Speaker's website's Accessories page has very little details and mismatched pics. Please help. Thank you.

BTW, can anyone recommend me good balanced portable amps with a budget of $225-$350 to match my AK100 Mk2 and AD with XLR cable?

Alo International with RSA plug at AD or Centrance Hifi M-8 when you want to use 4-pins XLR (normal size)!

Sorry, didn't look for pricerange... To be honest, I think it's difficult to find GOOD balanced amp in this pricerange....

I guess that's the only limitation for now. Will change amp soon. I'm currently using AK100 mk2 and D42, will it suffice for the AD?

I only have heard AK100mk2 a few times, but I really do think output is insufficient (without amp) to get AD to it's full potentential! I think you haven't receive your AD yet...

Let's see what's happens when it has arrived. I can recommend you ALO International, but when budget is an issue forget balanced mode and connect single-ended and go for ALO National or stay with your D42. You can't get fully balanced setup with AK100mk2 anyway. Output of AK is single-ended so input to amp is also single-ended!

Personally I think it's worth having a good SS amp. The Asgard 2 is probably a good choice, although I have not heard it. For more information it is perhaps better to see in other topics.

Lol. We have them on all day at the office, it's like a silent disco. WE got tired of yelling and bought lasers, now it's easy to get attention.
