Just substitute the actual bass for wub wub noises from your mouth whilst listening. Or eat a lot of beans a few hours prior.

What is the current backlog of the AD? I am coming over to US for a short two weeks in late March, wonder if I can catch up with the schedule if I place an order this week?

An easy test would be to pull one cup off your ear or one iem off. You are really only perceiving the bass. Which is why so many people have different opinions of bass signature on the same cans.
Which doesn't really matter in the scheme of things.

"which doesn't really matter in the scheme of things" - exactly.

Believe it or not, on Mr. Speakers' website they list how long the back order is. All you have to do is google it and you too can know how long the back order is.

I wore on such headphone. I don't remember the brand but I'm sure it was a cheap gaming head-set with a USB plug to get the 5V from the computer. I found it funny :basshead:

Optimus Prime?

My apologies for getting OT in this thread. Never meant to cause such an uproar!!

Shout out to the Alpha Dogs.

Matt, I've seen this new viewpoint in other Head-Fi threads.

Up until 1977, people mostly experienced bass as just lower notes - cello, bass viol, bass guitar, bass singers in barbershop quartets, etc - all of which go down to roughly 40 hz.  A few people felt bass if they were one of the few people who went to a pipe organ concert or a Grateful Dead concert.

Then in 1977, the battle cruiser went overhead at the beginning of Star Wars, and from that point on, the "felt" aspect of bass has become more and more popular, culminating with "bass drops" in hip-hop music and cars filled with sub-woofers, and home theaters having sub-woofers to reproduce the ".1" part of DVDs.

So, amongst people who have never heard a cello, but do listen to Dubstep, then bass is only "felt".  Hence the confusion.

It's hard to know how all the entrants are doing, as there's no top vote-getters chart. In browsing around a lot, I think I saw one other entrant with around 1700 votes. Let's try to catch 'em on the last day of voting!

Let's support one of our own, everyone, and vote for MrSpeakers today, if you haven't already, by CLICKING HERE!
