MrSpeakers Alpha Dog Revealed! - The World's First Production 3D-Printed Headphones - Page 84

The tour units *may* ship next week, and I'll share the tour list at that time.  The list is closed and both domestic and international were over-subscribed.  They won't be have final packaging unless magic happens.  But the phones will otherwise be full production.

We have a couple of nice finishing touches in the packaging that will be a surprise I think everyone will enjoy.  Yup, that's a tease.

Man, it's kinda sad that I'm simply excited for a list of people's names to be announced; especially considering I won't be on it. Really looking forward to seeing who to expect a review from first on the tour. I expect I'll be watching this thread daily after the initial shipments for the upgrade program to launch. Ok, who am I kidding? I'm checking it more often than that already.

Yes. Dan is still working out the physiology of actually kicking himself in the rear for even suggesting it.

Kidding, of course. A tour has got to be a project to manage, though.

Where is the sign-up sheet for this?

Hopefully it's not another Google Spreadsheet...

That whole google apps thing kinda sucks.

In this instance I would probably use a GPS software pop in all the Postal Codes in and let it do the walking then post up here the schedule. Really no need to be interactive at all.

But lynch mobs are all about the interactivity. Don't take the fun away from lynching. We'll have nothing left afterwards. Except for smelly headphones.

Congrats on Supremus, BTW.

Bugger! How'd that happen???? Do I get a prize (someone wanna send me one of those half price Momentum's:))

Lynching's overrated, the comedown is too hard. Maybe Dan should put a jar of Magic Masker in with the phones so each user can coat them and preserve the new car smell. Liquid glove might work too:D

Hopefully people will stick a pine freshener in the tour box ASAP. If I wanted to smell petroleum and old rubber I'd go to the derby. Or White Spot.

Oh, you won't have to settle for half-off Momentums. Just don't forget to bring your virgin goat during Stax Sunday on the umpremus-say orums-fay.

Speaking of which the Beta Cat tour over there is already halfway finished. Some real nice results with the new 15GW Lyr 5.0 it seems.

And apparently the soundstage is so vast it encompasses all of the 5 known dimensions, including the smell dimension. See that's what happens when they forget to put the pine freshener in. Let's not make the same mistake on the Muggle-forum tour.

But enough of this, I might get kicked out of there for the 4th time if I leak too much info. I'll have to secret Supremus PM you with the secret Supremus H-F gang sign. It's like the regular gang sign, but inverted, upside-down, and done with your feet. Drats! I've said too much.

...

In all seriousness guys, sorry for the off-topic

That 15GW of course comes from a contained black hole in the enclosure (another fine by product of the LHC at CERN) They were going to call it the Hawking model but could not afford to pay the royalties. The sound stage you mention comes from the signal being trapped in the event horizon and thereby encompassing all time and space at any given listening point. Properly used this rig will actually stop the aging process which is well worth the risk of having it clip and swallow up all of creation.

They've been going downhill ever since they got bought out by Harmon Kardon...

I don't know diddly-squat about those fancy "science" terms that you darned objectivist numbers-people will muster up at the drop of a dime. All I know is that my music has never smelled better and that my skins has never felt softer. Although my bowel functions have started to degrade. A pittance to pay for the sake of superior audio though.

Regarding the tour, have participants been chosen? I'd like to find out if I made the cut.

Exactly 12 posts before your post.

(It's interesting how little reading is done on Internet Forums.)

Any word on powder coating the brass bars as an option?
