Apparently a wide variety of tubes are available here, too. There are some serious high-end shops here and then a lot of cheap mass-consumer shops, too (of course). There's a big ticket shop that has a cafe upstairs where you can enjoy some Vietnamese coffee while listening to an $80k rig. Anyways, nice video hifiman.

Very nice video - I had not seen it yet.  Thank you.  Where was it originally, and how do I "stay subscribed?"

I'll have a talk with that shop when I get to Saigon next summer.

I'm primarily a tube guy, but the Alpha Dog sounded really good out of Burson Conductor.

Talking about which, I hope they'll do a summer headphone meet again in Saigon. I miss sharing gears with friends last year, and I'm not sure if they did it again this year.

Again, they work fine out of a player without any amp at all.... and they sound better with an amp, and better yet with a more powerful amp, and better yet with a "better" amp (better or more costly design).   This is called "they scale nicely".
