Just a reminder that I will not be online or responding to messages or email from tomorrow afternoon until Tuesday Sept. 3.  I've closed the Alpha Dog tour signup, and will post the tour info and details the first week of September.

A gentle reminder that there are no Mad Dog to Alpha Dog details available, and won't be for four weeks.  Thanks for your patience, we want to do the upgrade right with no problems.

he posted this earlier in thread but ordering mad dog is still available.

Yeah, I think he left someone on his team in charge.

The office will be open and we'll be shipping.  Laurie and Gus will respond to questions sent to info@mrspeakers.com.

We do request that you please read the website pages on products before sending enquiries, as probably 95% of the questions sent to us are covered on the website already (e.g. "How much does it cost to ship to..." can be addressed exactly by adding your phones to the cart and doing a "Estimate shipping", etc).

Until September...

Dan

But any news about magic trick?

So, I've been looking around and I can't find a single high end pair of headphones that are closed and have a flat frequency response. It seems all the high end closed headphones are bass heavy and that's really disappointing. I hate to say it but it looks like the Alpha Dogs are going to be my only choice if I'm excluding IEMs.

Received my mad dog just 3 days back and god... it's superb. Not quite at the level of my HE-500, but close enough that it's comfort and isolation won me over as my favorite headphone I've owned so far.

Super excited about Alpha dogs now, I'll be waiting anxiously to for it to be available in Singapore! Great headphone, great price and awesome option to upgrade without extra cost. Thank you MrSpeakers!!

The Beyerdynamic T5p is pretty flat. About as flat as closed hp's get.

Wishful thinking here...

Any chance of getting a drawing for this 3d printing?

The T5p and T1 are both significantly bassier than, say, an HD800. They're not bass-heavy, but there's definitely more there than a pure flat response.

I was responding to a post about closed cans.

I understand. I just wanted to clarify to anybody viewing that the Beyer isn't really flat, even if it is flatter than almost any other closed can on the market.
