New RHA IEMs: The MA750i and MA600i - Page 15

Before I pull the trigger, could someone please kindly post the dimension for the diameter and length without tips of the MA750 housing. I'll really appreciate it as I have small and narrow ear canal and some members did mention fit issues. Hope that it's not too big or long causing fitting issues for me. Thanks in advance.

Hi Leo888,

The total length of the housing is 17mm long (0.67 inches). The diameter of the end of nozzle without tips is 5mm (0.2 inches) whilst the nozzle itself is very much a standard size for dynamics. The total width of the back of the housing, which sits facing outwards, is 13mm (0.5 inches).

We hope this helps.

Thanks,
RHA Team

Hi,

Thanks for the info. Appreciate it. Will look into it and should act on it ASAP.

By the way, may I PM you guys if I needed any further details rather than posting here thus derailing this thread.

Thanks and regards.

Anyone see the Tech section of the NY Times Thursday? Had a small article on the 750's...not a rave, but, on the other hand, the Times writers are suspect when it comes to audio.

Hi, just need to be sure about the length of the housing. I don't know if the nozzle that holds the tip is considered part of the housing for iem. Thus, I would really like to know if the total length of 17mm includes the the nozzle. Thanks again and hope to hear from you soon.

Regards.

Hi Leo888,

It does. 17mm (0.67 inches) is the total length, including the nozzle.

Thanks,

I actually like the MA600 a lot.. I like the fact that it is a different sounding in ears to the MA750. I have told several friends on the discovery thread the MA600 hold their own in sound.. For guys that want more bass emphasis over the stock MA750 sound the MA600 is just that.. The MA750 does have the higher end tuning but that don't mean the MA600 is not enjoyable. Completely worth trying out imo. The build is not the same. The cord is high quality but thinner vs the tank like construction of the MA750.

There will be guys that will actually like the MA600 over the MA750.

Hello, can you guys chime in on the 750's treble energy? published FR graph shows extended so percussion instruments like cymbals have that nice splashy sound, right?
I have the GR07BE for reference and enjoy that sound signature. If the 750 has equal or slightly less treble energy it would be perfect.

Also, when will they be back in stock on amazon???????

I would take the M-Duo over the MA600, but I would take the MA750 over either.  The M-Duo does have more treble response than either of the RHA models, if that helps any.

Sorry, no idea.  :(  U.S. availability is in November, so I imagine Canada would be around the same time?

It helps a bunch. I would take the ma750 but I wear glasses and am not wanting a over the ear cord setup. but if the the ma600 had the ma750 cord with it I would be hard pressed to pass that up. looks amazing..

I will ad that it is very difficult to pick out headphones these days.  all the main stream stores don't carry very good stuff and its a guessing game on what might work and not work with your preferences...And it becomes almost overwhelming.   thank goodness for this place...

I got mine from Amazon.com. Between the exchange rate and shipping costs I'll probably end up having paid a little more than I would than when they become available in Canada but I didn't figure that the difference would be so significant to make it worth waiting.
