For Sale:
FS: AKG K601, Grado sr125 MCA woody, Sennheiser HD555, grubDAC, starving student millet hybrid

Will Ship To: US

Hey guys,

Time to thin out the herd. I find myself listening to my main rig almost exclusively, and all this gear deserves to be enjoyed! The prices are semi firm. Lists will be updated with more headphones or gear.

I am willing to make full or partial trades with additional money going in either direction.

I'm looking for a Schiit Lyr or a Burson HA-160, but i will field other offers. No longer looking to trade for an amplifier.

I will still field trade offers though.

Buy more than one thing and i will work out a discount!

All prices include shipping inside the United States. Just add paypal fees, or gift it (not recommended).

AKG K601 (made in Austria) : $150

not my cup of tea, but i respect the sound. they have a bit more bass than the k701 if i recall. these are in fantastic shape. the earpads are a bit worn. just normal wear for about 3 or so years of use. serial number #16159.

Grado SR125 with Martin Custom Audio Cocobolo wood cups : $265 $250

these are pretty special, mostly because of the MCA wood. Martin did a fantastic job, saying these were the nicest set he's built for how much i paid for them ($175). i gave grado a shot, didnt love the sound. guess im an ortho kind of guy smile.gif. Included are some L cush pads with less than 20 hours of use, and a set of the yellow sennheiser pads (unused). the cups are very new, less than 20 hours on them

Sennheiser HD555 with foam mod (turning them into hd595's) : $85 $75

had these for about 3 years, and have loved them the entire time. dont get much use anymore. they have a hairline crack on the headband on one side. this is very common for these headphones. does not impact performance. the crack is essentially a superficial cosmetic blemish. it will not threaten the lifespan of the headphones. there is also some wear on the paint on the sides of the cups. these blemishes should be visible in the images.

GrubDAC : 60$

great sounding dac, especially for the price. i have to say, in the price range this is probably pretty tough to beat. in flawless condition.

Starving Student : $150

built it myself :) the case is cherry. the tubes are 19j6. the caps are Nichicon KW audio caps and wimas for the coupling.

if you want more pictures of anything, no problemo. if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!
