That is a good option for US70,00 but in matter of sound quality, not only the bass, but highs and mids, soundstage... go for the LP2

Another good option is the AKG K67 by Tiesto, good Sound quality and US75,00

if u only care bout bass, grab a sin wave at around 50-80Hz and put in  some kicks, side chain them and bam, a groovy song w/ only bass.

I am not going to use the xb500 at the gym lol. I had a pair before I got for 30 bucks. Really good but cord is **** and no portability. Also, I stepped on them after a year and the headband broke.

I understand beats are overpriced! But at 110 that's a good deal.

How about the normal crossfade lps?? How do those stack up with studios and lp2s?? Forgot to mention I will be using poweramp and a lot of the eq stuff to get it where I want it.

All these headphones are emphasized for bass. However, the LP has been reviewed as very muddy sounding. The LP2 is a refined LP that is cleaner and more detailed, with a less muddy bass. It has been reviewed to be considerably better than the LP.

Give a try to the AKG K67 by Tiesto, they have good sound, good soundstage, good bass, are comfortable, and cost US75,00

This may be one of those situations that you and only you can decide. Go with your heart (ears?).

Do you have a Microsoft store by you? You can try the Crossfades there.

For the same price, Studios every time, less sub bass, but overall more pleasant to listen to. However the Studios are at least $250, so LP2

Ok studios it is since I am getting them for 110. Thanks guys!

for 110 they are not overpriced, Congratulations!! Where are you getting them for that price?

Just my word of caution: Only fish out the money for the studios if you are absolutely sure they are a legit pair. But, I'm sure you already know that. Enjoy the Studios! I've never heard them but I'm sure they'll perform well for your needs.
