Hello. I want a nice closed back headphone that is over ear and under $150. I want it to be nice looking enough to be able to wear outside, have nice bass but good clarity. I listen to rap and electronic dance and dubstep. I also want it to not make me ears sweaty and be very comfy.

Audio-Technica M50 for more clarity, Audio-Technica PRO700mk2 for more bass.

They look nice. Don't want to spend too much money though. Do you know how the pro 500 mk2 compare to them and maybe the ath-m50?

Does the pro mk700 mk 2 need an amp?

Not really. It benefits from one, like most phones do, but it's a very efficient headphone; they were made to go loud as they're designed for DJs.

Would it just make it louder or enhance the sound?

A lot of the first one and a little on the second one. Not much more so than any other headphone.

Sony XB500 mate! Great thumping bass making them ideal for rap music and dupstep. They are also very comfy to ware thanks to there ultra soft leather ear pads, like pillows resting on your head.
