(sorry for thread bumping.. haven't been on in awhile and was just looking at stuff that was auto-subbed)

The momentum, 1r, psb m4u, and pretty much all headphones have extremely high profit margins.

Best at 300 however must go between:

ATH WS99

KEF M500

PSB M4U 1

Which do you think is better, the D600 or the ATH-WS99?  I'm looking to upgrade from the M50s and want more bass and sub-bass extension.

The WS99 has exactly what u want.

Thanks.  Do you think that the WS99 is better than the D600?  How so?  The D600 got 4 out of 5 stars on whathifi and the WS99 got a mediocre 3 stars.  What do you make of that?

I think so. The D600 is unbalanced and its bass is unimpressive.

Have you heard the WS99?  Would you happen to know how it sounds compared to the M50, the M100 or the D600?  The thing I hate most about the WS99 from looking at it is that it doesn't fold up like the M50, thus making it less portable.
