I know right! They actually have spacious soundstage to my ears although the rolled off bass and somewhat thin out bass with most earbud may be an issue but I do find them to have clear clean sound to it with emphasis on vocals... Just to me and my experience with some earbuds

The bass was what made me give up on ideas of ear buds, but if newer ear buds and give full dynamic bass, I think they are worth buying.

Lol. I sometimes wish I was freakin rich. When my friend ask me what I would do with million dollars, first thing I said was "Buy an Orpheus! And Nautilus! And Amps!". He thought I was crazy spending so much money on audio gears.

Dunno where you're thinking of, but NYC only has 3: B&H, J&R, and ACgears. Nothing really "high-end" except for the hd800 really, and the stores dont carry and dacs and amps either. We don't have any specialized headphone stores around here; maybe for speakers, but definitely not for headphones.

Unfortunately I've never gone in a speaker store before. I'd feel kind of weird going in there, playing touhou and japanese musix xD. I use a pair of audioengines A2s but if I had the space in my dorm, I'd just get a good set of cheap monitor bookshelf speakers and i'd be very very satisfied with the sound i get out of them.

Nah. I go to a boarding school. I already miss audio stores in Korea, but I'll try to see if I can find some stores around my school.

I just contacted Nick about lowering the gain on my UHA and I think I'll get the few opamps when I send him my UHA to get the gain lowered.

I never liked the idea of speakers in dorms. Won't you be bothering others?
