Ya. Especially with my SE846 possibly leaving me for a full sized, I need a universal iem to use while traveling/commuting. Thanks.

If you like the SRH-1540, you may like the HD800! smily_headphones1.gif

Are they similar? I thought they were quite different.

From what I have read about the SRH-1540, the HD800 sound like a higher end version of it. Tested the HD800 + Beyer A1 amp once.

There probably will be a review up at head-fi for another Apt-x enabled bluetooth gear. SBH80. Absolutely stunning.

The phillips fidelio x1 are great for what you're looking for.

HD800 are quite different from SRH1540. In fact, it's closer to UERM. So far so good though.

Sorry Mr.Victor. I think I am a little busy for a sub portable amp comparison promised earlier via PM. Not anytime soon but am getting a desktop tube amplifier.

I haven't been very active on head-fi, as I'm writing for another website right now. Check it out here if you want. Also like our page on FB!

Anyhow, I've been reviewing lots of portable gears recently, and also got a pair of HD800 now. I can answer questions about previous products I've reviewed here, but feel free to ask me for any recommendations on portable gears!
