Technically, my ears are all spoilt by my Grado redface.gif not hearing lost but I find myself having hard time to go back to my XBA-4... Probably selling it to my friend for $75~ then get myself a brighter IEM XD

Lol. Try something like Sony H3. IDK how bright they will be, but it's sure going to be brighter than XBA-4.

Good ol sansa fuze... great starter dap. Btw victor, I found a pair of balanced k702s for $170 shipped so I'll be buying them to try out. I wish they were 4-pin xlr instead of 2x 3-pin though :(. Oh well, I can always have someone make me a cable if i decide to keep the k702s. Now I am in search of a balanced dt880s.

DT880 doesn't have a replaceable cable right? Balanced DT880 should be hard to find than.... good luck! I'm looking forward to your reviews! BTW, feel to free borrow any of my iems/hps. I can lend them out for a week or two.

Even though the k702/q701 use replaceable cables, it is a single sided 3-pin XLR so you can't just put in a balanced cable cause the 3-pin mini XLR inside the headphones needs to be replaced by a 4-pin mini XLR wired for balanced use. So pretty much they're both pretty rare to find, though the dt880 is more popular than the akgs nowadays (?). I think I'll take you up on your offer of the srh940 btw, i'll pm you my address. My "reviews" will most likely just be informal personal subjective impressions rather than anything formal or lengthy.

Just discovered a really cool new age album. They have a very mystical feel. Too bad I couldn't find a lossless copy...

Tales Weaver Exceed by Vanilla Mood.

Anyways, I might try to do a Mac vs Window laptop review, in terms of audio use. I have a 13inch macbook air and a samsung series 5 ultrabook.

I have a Dell desktop and MacBook Pro 15-inch, I much much prefer my Macbook's SQ! The Dell can't play anything above 16KHz, the volume bar is not showing anything when I play it but I can hear better with my MacBook xD I also much prefer the performance of my MacBook over the Dell; more or less similar price, the MacBook offer better spec and higher end performance ^_^

I like their iWork as well xD
