I should have said at home haha. I usually listen to music through headphones but if im playing a game or something, I usually use my speakers for that. I do hate when other people are playing really loud music through speakers though.

I've been so busy recently. I only got about 15mins of listening in over last three days. New school's just awkward.

Whoa, just saw this thread.

I've been cited! I made it Ma, I made it!

:D

I hope no one looks up to me or anything. I'm just a 21 year old pharm.d student who loves music, and the phones that present my songs the best for me. IMO, reviewing is just sharing your journeys with others in a legible enough manner. Music is an intensely personal experience, and that's what truly makes sites like these awesome.

So I just paid for the audio gd NFB-10ES2 xD. Hopefully selling my single ended setup should be enough to cover $654.60. I'm hoping this will be my end desktop setup, as I find that I'm probably not going to notice much more gains with even more expensive music with the kind of music that I listen to. Upgrading my dac from es9023 to es9018 and from a SE tube amp to a balanced amp should be a good upgrade I hope. I'll have to send my mogami cable in to get it modded to 4pin xlr / 4pin xlr adapter to SE :D

I tried my friend's philips fidelio x1 other day and I found that other than the sound signature differences, I have trouble telling the differences between detail, soundstage, etc between them. I even have trouble telling concrete differences between my little dot and the uha-6s sometimes, with my hd600. It's definitely a bit better sounding, but it's hard to put it down in words.
