Yep. I didn't like it nearly as much as the HD600. The treble was quite hot with the Schiit Modi/Magni combo that I heard it on.

OK thanks, yea i dont like a hot treble, what had more bass?.

Out of those 3 the HD650 had the most bass. I must say I enjoyed the HD600 + O2 combo the most, followed closely by the HD650 + O2 and then the HE-400 with Schiit Modi/Magni combo. The best amp for the HD6X0s was the Bottlehead Crack.

do you reccomend a DAC, they would be hooked up to my PC.

Alternatively, you could get the Fiio X3 and get the HD600. That was quite a good combo as well though the amp was a bit lacking.

For more bass, I would definitely go for the HD650.

OK i will do that then, i just dont want it to be to flat sounding.

The o2 is good, just neutral... And the HD 600 is fairly neutral so paired together there isn't really any emphasis on any frequencies... You could eq more bass if needed and it should sound good.

The HD600 was flat sounding, but not the HD650.

Maybe you should get the ODAC to go with the O2. JDS has a combo for $280 I think.
