HE-400 - which revision do I have?

Apologies if this is redundant, I tried to search around for pictures comparing the different revisions of the HE400s but came up short.  Someone described the Revision 3s as "bone colored" and the revision 2 as brownish.  Can someone more experienced with these tell me which revision these are?  Greatly appreciated!

Might be off-lighting, but that looks as though to be 'revision 3.'  Those are not good.

Darn.  Is it possible to return to manufacturer if I bought them from a 3rd party?  Otherwise, I guess I will have to return them and just pick up a new set from Amazon.

A couple more pictures (with and without flash)

The first two pics make the driver look white.  If it truly is white then it's '2nd revision,' which is good.  If it looks sandy brown to you then it's bad.  I'm not sure whatever terms the 3rd party vendor you bought from has.

The first picture in the initial post is the closest to the natural color - it's a "bone" color - like an off-whtie/eggshell color more than a "brown."

I'm 100% sure it's the bad revision. Yeah you should exchange or repurchase...unless you can tolerate the treble from these (a few owners of rev3 HE400s actually don't mind the treble).

Awesome, thanks again for the help guys.  Will likely return them and get the latest revision.  Thanks again.

How many revisions have the HE-400 had?

Are retailers (Crutchfield) selling more than one revision?

Is the most current revision the "best"?
