V-Moda crossfade M80 muffled sound???

Hello all, i purchashed yesterday a pair of crossfade m80(white) its great and the bass is great too , the highs are fine but the mids(vocals) sound a bit muffled as if you're listening through a wall or something..(they're not bright ?)/as if there being produced by a subwoofer..the detail if perfect...

I currenntly have them burn in for about 7 hours..

I compare them to my previous headphones sony xb300 and a creative in ear

My soundcard in asus xonar dgx..with default equilizer and i use foobar player/bs player with flac/mp3.

Every review i read is talking about clear/forward mids so is there any chance that my pair is defective or something?

It's making me wonder cause its not possible a other lower price/quality headphones sound so much better in mids..

Besides that its a great pair i'm very impressed!!!

Burn them out for much longer, 7 hours isnt enough for burn out time. Leave it for at least 2-3 days of burn out.
