Please help me end my search for headphones.. - Page 2

Yeah, I'd say my head was more large than small haha (Measure my head for a cap size and it was like 24 inches) ^_^

I like the look of the A900X but I was just a bit concerned about people saying that they're ideal for someone with a medium sized head, but they slip off if you have a smaller head and they're uncomfortable if you have a large head.

Hello Mackem.

Since it seems you are looking to use your headphones for gaming as well as listening to music, Mad Lust Envy has an excellent thread here:

Maybe it might help you narrow down your choices?

Good luck! ;-)

I checked that thread out but I didn't get many responses unfortunately.

Still looking.

Well, my recommendations:

Denon D5000 (if you can find it cheap... probably not...)

MrSpeakers Mad Dogs

Denon D600

Yamaha Pro 500

All of them have great bass (implemented differently but enough for EDM, explosions in games, etc.), most of them have Ok mids and highs (Mad Dogs are the most neutral and has lovely mids). Sound stage vary between all of them, wider/bigger soundstage goes to the Denon D5000 but all do a good job for being 'closed' headphones.

Maybe you can start looking into those.

Look at the KRK KNS 8400; usually they make high end speakers but they have headphones too. The clarity is second to none. Just don't buy its little brother the KRK KNS 6400 (this one sucks).
