Thats surprising because even though the over ears arent necessarily tight, the on ears i find just are bit too loose and too dominant. I preferred the vmoda xs in terms of the tightness.

But for an on ear at that price range it checks off a lot of boxes ( i got my pair for 140) at full retail that would be a tough one to swallow

according to this review, Bose QC25 score better than Sennheiser momentums.

Now i am strongly inclined on Bose QC25's as I really need comfortable headphones with NC for my long flights...but i also need over the ear headphones that i can occasionally enjoy sitting and working at Cafe's, at work etc.....i am wondering if Sound quality is decent enough to enjoy mainstream EDM music out of macbook pro?

If only the over-ear Momentums had better treble extension. But throw in the much smaller case of the QC25s, superior NC ability and comfort; for travel, I'd go with the QC25s.

thanks.

I managed to try QC25's today at best buy with my own player.

definitely getting them as NC and clarity is amazing..they dont have that hiss sound and overall the sound doesnt compromise anything too much.

they are definitely gonna be perfect for watching movies and binge watching tv shows :D

whats the best place to buy Bose? amazon is taking too long to apply my gift card

I bought mine at the Bose Store...but pricing looks pretty much the same regardless of where you buy them.
