That would be wonderful for all TF10 users, and a rather intimidating question to all UERM users.

Reading this, I was wondering if I should re-shell my TF10s and maybe upgrade to a higher driver count instead of getting new iems.

He's likely sitting in a chair, TFRM in ear, comatose. No explanation, brain scrambled. Someone call Dunham.

Inks isn't just going to lay down some drivel here. He has a great responsibility to set expectations. He's setting a precedent for the whole tour. He's got to nail this tongue.gif

Make it good, Inks ; ) We are all waiting for you. No pressure.

I disagree, I think the first reviewer should be quick, as the tour itself insures we'll get a good depth of opinion.

But the rest of us need something solid to argue against!

So something like "____ is the bees knees b****s! That is all." ?

No need to set the bar too high. Regardless, I intend to bring it far lower than where it got to me.

I think each person that has been hand-select to audition the pair should have a good depth of opinion.

I think he suspects a small difference, but it may only be subjective illusion / bias, so he's hesitant to write about it and is comparing back and forth.  A blind assessment would be ideal, but needs a third party to insert the IEM's for you.

A blind assessment would be impossible, given the shapes of the iems, and how they are to be properly inserted for a good seal.

Subscribed, the finishing touches are being put on my UERM as I speak and they should be shipped from UE in the next few days. I look forward to reading everyone's impressions and deciding if I chose my custom wisely or if I should punch myself in the face for needlessly blowing 900 bones.
