TAKET H2+ maybe one of the best  headphones of the world?

I can tell.

I just got this headphone months ago, and this cost me almost 2200 NZ dollars.

H2(thick pads)+ and a pair of thin pad. JPY 157000 total cost.

I try my best to drive this headphone without its TR2.

But I still cannot drive it very well.

BRAND-NEW price is over $1650

Now I can accept $1250 and I will eat the shipping fee( PP fee still yours).

Almost 11 months warranty left and I still cannot drive it loud ( how rare I use this headphone).

I have tried HE-adapter with my old teac speaker amp(60watt per channel) but still not good.

HE-adapter may not drive this headphone well since it just have only two resistors. BUT if you buy this headphone I can give you my HE-adapter as free.

I still recommend to using speaker amp( with TAHET's TR2)

or some very special headphone amp( just like for HE6 but I think this headphone will give you more troubles than he6).

BTW, even it looks heavy, but just 320g and comfortable.

Hi,
I understand thme cable is terminated in male XLR;do you have a female XLR to 1/4 or 1/8 adapter,so You could try it through the headphone out?
I have a vintage Pioneer SX1010 woth 2x80 watt youncould try.

Ops, Of course I wish I could try.

Besides, I also bought a balance headphone adapter cable (4-pin XLR female to 6.35 male) which will arrive next week.

That means I still leave hope to drive this headphone.

Would you mind to leave me a message about your email?

You really need the TR2 to drive the phones unless you get an amp like the Elekit TU879S and modify it.

SilverSurfer616 is spot on regarding amp choice. Give it a try.

I drive my H2 through the TR2 connected to a balanced 80Watt Class A amp. They sound wonderful.

It would be a real shame for you to sell it before hearing how good they really sound.

Hi Wink,

Thanks god, I always waitting for a H2+ user to give me an advise and you can that guy.

I think you are right, I am so Impatient to this world class headphone.

Mr Takei had told me how to modify the amp but I just thought it is hard to do in NZ.

Anyway, I only can imagined the sound of this headphone after I got it since I cannot drive it well, and this situation just made me disappointed.

All right, I would like to put more money into this headphone and sorry to my wallet.

I have to sell my LCD2 out~~~~~~~~~

THANKS

YUJIAN
