FiiO X3 Review - Page 9

Sorry to dissapoint you, but I don't think imaging will improve that much with the x3. The iphone is fairly decent once you bypass the amp (it is crap, really especially imaging).

Lol, accelerator, actually you have offended me with your source/cable talk, but apology accepted redface.gif

Guess this tells about what I think of the whole topic, don't even wanna debate it deadhorse.gif

Just want to say one thing... If I wanted to and tried, I could perceive differences between cables as well, but I highly doubt I could pick out cables in ABX testing, so I won't even bother.

For those who love Fiio X3 and want to have parametric EQ on it (via firmware update), please vote in this poll:

http://www.head-fi.org/t/677571/poll-parametric-eq-on-fiio-x3#post_9721201

If your headphones have sharp treble peaks, parametric EQ can nullify those peaks without affecting the rest of the treble (X3's current EQ system may reduce more treble than you truly want).

The warmness is usual. No problems

Please update FW to the new released 1.25EN which has some ogg bugg fixes. See if this fixes your problem.

Ogg was mentioned to be a slightly buggy format.

If 1.25 didn't fix it, it's probably still buggy.

Same problem with OGG and 1.25. Other problem with OGG files is the library doesn't recognize the album tag and all the songs appears in Unkown Album.

Best regards.
