JVC JL-A20 TT

Thread Starter
I've been interested in getting into vinyl some day and ran across my dad's old JL-A20 turntable and vinyl collection. I'm just curious if anyone knows how this model ranks among others? The belt drive and stylus look to be needing a replacement, which seems like a cheap fix.

It's a decent enough spinner. Not in the Linn LP12 territory, but good enough for even choppy waters.

Read up on how to oil the bearing and shaft. This affect the rumble noise and also speed stability. Get a cartridge with a tracking weight of between 2 to 3 grams. New belt is a must.
