Im looking for an upgrade to my ma900 and the x1 is getting rave reviews.  Would the x1 be an improvement?  I couldn't care less about sound signature, and ive been thinking about grados.

Thanks In Advance!

You will need to spend quite a bit to upgrade the MA900 imo.

So it's more like a diff flavor. Fidelio x1 may likely be better in the lows, and it supposedly has a large soundstage. Would I be disappointed really is my question.

If you "couldn't care less about signature" then don't change. I see no reason why the X1 would be considered better than the MA900. They should be around the same level, only with a different signature.

Also, if you don't care about signature, why are you even considering changing headphones? Any significant improvement over the MA900 requires big bucks.
