So much happiness and love!

Yes, yes. We are innately joyful, mon. It's the distortion that's miserable.

I must admit I am a bit confused by your reply. If I am reading you correctly, you enjoy the music from an artistic standpoint. However, it seems that perhaps you find a technical flaw that annoys you.

Could you elaborate on the distortion that you find to be "miserable"? Where and when does this distortion occur?

"Miserable" is a word I could never attach to any version of 'Confrontation' that I have heard. It is just such a joyous record!

I had the LP back in the early '80s, but now I just have a FLAC version of the CD.

Your comment was brief, so I'm not sure of your meaning.

Can you be more specific please?

Haha, communication breakdown. I'm not talking about distortion in music, but distortion in perspective that causes misery in the world. Marley was spreading the clear message of one love. The corruption/distortion of that message causes suffering.

Absolutely. I was wondering if that's what you meant, and I'm glad it was. I have always found 'Confrontation' to have such a powerful message for those who listen. One Love indeed! It is always refreshing to meet someone who "gets it." biggrin.gif
