That's for sure! But if for price ratio to performance, the ATH-M50 actually perform better

Hows the noise cancellation on the UE6000s? I've read quite a few reviews bashing the noise cancellation. Also, i've seen a couple complaints about the Aux cable being lose, have you experienced this?

Hello!

I would say, the UE 6000's Active NC is decent! Not as strong as some others like the Bose headphones. In passive mode, the NC does it's job great!

As for the Aux being lose... I have no such issue with the UE6000 but with the MDR-1R, yes but hopefully Sony fix it by now smily_headphones1.gif

Hope this helps!

True. But in my taste of music, the MDR-1R's sound signature is worth the money. darthsmile.gif

Is THIS a reliable source to buy headphones from, plus whats they're return policy?

If i end up getting the M50s im considering getting them from here since there $40 cheaper than on Amazon. (although i'd like to know why they have so many deals rebates--i.e. whats the catch).

Well unless anyone else has something to input, I think I'm just going to get the ue6000s.

Any better places to buy then amazon? (currently 170$ on Amazon without shipping).

Get the ue6000, but for $30 more you can get the better ath ws99.

Except the ws99s don't fold up. Also, are they much better or only marginally better? Plus that argument can go on forever, for only $10 more you can get... And eventually you're at a $1500 set.

Well... kinda marginally better, like most things in the headphone world. The ue6000 was just too warm and dark for me.

Warm/dark?

Edit: know anything about hp700s or hp1000s? A friend suggested them as well.

Edit 2: 700s don't appear to fold so there out. (do correct me if I'm wrong, my Internet is a bit sketchy atm)

I know nothing about either. Just get the ue6000. They're good and you'll be satisfied, plus they're rediculously comfortable (more comfortable than the so so comfort of the ws99). WS99 also has slightly less isolation (very slight).

dark: emphasized bass, recessed highs/treble makes it sound slow and boring

warm: pretty much the same, but not as recessed highs
