ymmv

but I feel you. I am suprised you don't have or are eyeying a beyer t90 or t1.

i got one coming in but just to try it out. I doubt it is for me.

the k545 plays it safe and really falls short nowhere except for imo attack. The seal... well that may be the issue but if you buy one be patient and bend the cups outward to the shape of your head.

Are the K545 ON-Ears or OVER-Ears. Whats the Lowest Price they go for... I can't seem to fine the Orange one anywhere.

Orange: http://us.akg.com/akg-product-detail_us/akg-545-orange.html

The K545 are a newer model, so lowest price won't be too far off of what AKG has them available at, which is around 250 USD.  I think they are an over ear model, but that would be something for someone who actually has them in hand.

I fail to get a good seal with the DT770, so I figured the T90 or T1 would have resluts.  Also, I'm in college, so money's tight!

mmm... i directly compared the akg k545 vs. the momentum ON-ear, and the k545 is clearly a solid step above. the k545 was clearer, cleaner, more neutral. however, didn't get a chance direct compare against the momentum over-ear.

When AKG advertises w/ the K545: "Unique folding function enables headphones to fit flat in their ultra-slim case for added portability and security." what case are they referring to?

They don't have a case. I think they changed there mind in that regard.

omg... a folding k545 would have been badasssss!!! an all white version of a folding k545 would have been an instant winner IMO.
