Please help.

Hello, all. I'm 15, and I'm new here, so please bear with me. Back in February, my friend gave me his Beats by Dre Studios, and they recently broke. So I'm selling them and buying a new pair; problem is, I don't know what to get. I mainly listen to rock, metal, heavy metal. Examples are Sum 41, Bullet for my Valentine, etc. Anyway, I've been looking at a few pairs but I keep reading mixed reviews on them. My choices were Soul by Ludacris SL300/SL150, Sol Republic Tracks HD, Monster DNA, and Audio-Technica ATH-M50. If you have any others, please suggest them. I'd rather have a good-looking/stylish pair with great sound and bass that doesn't overpower the music. All responses are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you have a budget?

Currently I'm pushing the Audio Technica ATH-A900X (closed) headphones.

Digbuy is selling them for $179.99, plus tax (Free shipping),

Not a super bassy headphone, but nice over all sound quality.

You're selling a pair of broken headphones?

People will buy anything. And more money toward his budget is ok!

Duct tape was invented for a reason!

Op: What is your budget? Do you listen loud or normal?

Yes, I'm selling them broken, he's gonna find someone to fix them, and frankly I just don't want beats anymore. I usually listen to moderately loud music. I have a rather small budget; about 150 or so. If anyone has any experience with the Soul by Ludacris, please tell me how well/poorly they performed. Also, if anyone has experience with any of the headphones I listed, tell me how their performance was as well.

OP is looking for a 'good-looking/stylish' pair of headphones, possibly to use as a portable? I've seen people use the A900s on the train - definitely not stylish!

Soul by Luda SL300/SL150/SL100

Boomphones Phantom

Sol Republic Tracks HD

Monster DNA

Audio Technica ATH-M50

Beats Executive(lol jk)

Sony MDR-V55

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro

Skullcandy Crushers

Philips CitiScape Downtown

V-Moda Crossfade LP

That's just what I saw that looked appealing on the first few pages of Amazon. If any of these stand out audio-quality wise, it would be greatly appreciated if you informed me. I'm pretty sure the M50 will be the top one, so tell me about the others first. Thanks again for the replies.

Your best choices would be the Audio Technica ATH-M50, V-MODA M-80, or if you stretch your budget a bit, Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro.

EDIT: Another good choice is the Ultrasone HFI-780

I'm considering the aforementioned Beyerdynamics. Found some for 170 on amazon. Any other suggestions? And as I said before, please tell me about your experiences with the headphones I listed.
