[Review] Superlux HD681 EVO - Page 44

well, I get back home yesterday and put back the original foam filter. after 100+ hours the fuzziness gone and I got back the original separation and depth.

However, I can relate with @derbigpr that its not engaging enough and I did skip a lot of my song, but I realize something, i almost never skip a track when I listened to evo while I laid my back on sofa or reclining chair. I can't understand why but at some position, when evo are pressed from the back it seems that music are drawn into me, and suddenly it became musical and engaging.

Maybe its just me? last night I tested and Daft Punk - Giorgio by Moroder sounded soooooo great! never heard it sounded that great before. Also song Queen by Etana gave me unreal impressions that I never heard. might have something to do with back of my head / neck pressed and angled the evo / my inner ear?

IMHO, no remove foam and felt disc. Change only cover pads.

oh you misunderstand what I mean, I mean is to change its cover pad into something thinner

Anyone have any experiences with amp/dacs with the HD681? I'm looking at the Fiio E10k since it has a bass booster, so please chime in and help me out! Looking for something under $100. Main purpose for these headphones is cs:go and mainly EDM.

I'm sorry, I can not understand you. The terms I took in the document:

http://www.mediafire.com/view/av6k1rhkv5lwol6/Superlux_HD681_EVO.pdf

See page 8 "Removal of the felt disc":

Maybe I'm wrong as are called the constituent parts pads?

My friend is prepping his first turntable setup. I would recommend him superlux but then I remember the takstars

Since I won't be getting amp anytime soon myself (means I can't try high impedance can) can somebody who also own takstar compare to superlux?

I'd like to present my friend with better than average beginners headphone. Since he'might invest in amp would the takstars be any good or better than superlux.
As for myself I really fall in love with superlux soundstage
