Recommendations...?

I wanna get a pair of Sennheiser 558's but dont wanna pay too much for em. Know anywhere I can get them lower than the $179 price tag I'm seeing everywhere? I wouldn't mind paying that price but I have to purchase a new wheelchair ($3,050.00) and pay for skin flap surgery to close a stage 4 bedsore ($6,000.00). I'll be laid up for a while and pain meds will have me keeping odd hours so I wanted these for music and movies so as not to disturb my housemates. Any suggestions? Are the 558's a good choice or is there something out there that sounds just as good or close to these for cheaper? Any info or recommendations would be helpful.

Unfortunately the 558's are open back so they will leak a lot, therefore you will be distrubing others with your music.

I Have my own room. I like to listen/watch loud and since everyone else is upstairs or down the hall a little leakage is fine as long as it isn't comparable to a booming home theater system, of which I'm sure they are most definitely not. They wont be for portable use outside or anything. Just when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep and need a distraction from some of this pain.

You recommended these for my first purchase a couple of days ago purple. Lol. Do you really like them that much? Anyways, I ordered a pair and they should be here in a day or two. I just really want another pair of something different and a decent soundstage and heard the 558's were pretty good and also that they are really comfortable for long periods of use when watching particularly long movies or sitting down to extensive gaming.

The ATH-A900X is my best closed headphone.
