Question to anyone attending : Do you have pair 3 pin XLR to single 4 pin XLR so that you connect 3 pin XLRs to amps balanced out and plugin you headphones to into the 4 pin XLR. If answer is yes please reply and bring it with you cause I want to try Mr Speakers Alpha Dogs with DacMagic Plus in balanced mode. I already asked Dan but he doesn't have it. Thanks in advance

The alpha dogs are only in 3-pin xlrs?

No Alpha Dogs use one 4 pin XLR for both channels while amps with balanced outputs use a pair of 3 pin XLR one for each

I have recently lost the drive with all my digitized music that was not on my RWAK100. This is not a huge loss as it was all from my CD's. I just have not had the time to redigitize them. I will have a LH LAbs Geek Out Beta Unit though and I will need a USB on a device. I can bring my laptop if someone wants to bring the music, or if someone has a laptop or machine they want to bring with music, I'd be very grateful so everyone can try out the device

As always we'll do 3.0 to 3.2 upgrades for free, just bring your phones.  If you have Shure or Dog Pads and want to upgrade drop a note...

Sorry to hear that you can't make it Justin. Good luck with your surgery!

If anyone wants to volunteer to run our "not so silent" auction feel free to speak up now or forever hold your peace.

Also, I went over to the Adria yesterday to scope things out and we're definitely going to need to have everyone bring over some power strips, extension cords and the like. We're going to set the room up with the vendors on the perimeter in a horseshoe form and then about 4 rows of I'd say 5 or 6 tables in the center. The tables are 8' long and 2' wide. 2 rigs can fit per table comfortably.

Food wise there is a Burger King across the street and a few other fast food joints in the vicinity. Bell Blvd. seems to have more options for those with a hankering for non-fast food.

If you're taking the train, the LIRR train station is about a 10 minute walk from the venue. However, if you have equipment, the hotel management said there is a taxi stand at the station so you don't have to lug your gear for 10 blocks. I can't confirm this though.

If you're driving, there is a parking lot in the back of the hotel. Also there is parking at the office building to the right of the hotel. It is owned by the people who own the hotel so it is ok to park there. Finally, when unloading gear you can pull up front, quickly unload, then find parking.

See everyone at the meet on Saturday!!! Can't wait to hear Mr. Speakers Alpha Dogs!!!

Sounds good, thanks for all the work on this. 15 foot extension cord or longer?

I will now also be bringing the Teac UD-501 to keep the HA-501 company. Spent some time listening to the HA-501 with my RS1 Grados tonight, very nice and the damping control works well. Also tried the little Jolida integrated tube amp with my K1000. Glad i am bringing the AKG's but as previously mentioned in this string, it will be hard to properly demo them in the show environment. Both the Stax SR3 and SR44 set ups that I am bringing to sell also sounded very good with the Jolida. I have some NIB Martin Logan Mikros 70's to sell, I will have my set there to audition. A very nice IEM for the price range IMHI, comfortable too. Also packing a Parasound Zamp for possible sale.

How close are the rooms for the show from the front door?, my pile of stuff seems to be quickly growing.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there, travel safely.

The rooms are close ,you can pull up to the front of  the hotel in the driveway & unload ,then park the car.You can also park in the parking lot on the roof & take the elevator down to the hall. There are also luggage carts in the front offfice you can use for the gear.
