I would say the complete burn-in process of xxx hrs might zero the sibilance if any, trim the highs and eventually appreciating the bass/mid bass but may be not to the level of VSD3?the way they are tuned.......

what if the burn in makes them sound worse?

A good point.  What if they transition from tight and controlled to loose and sloppy?  After that you might need to burn them in another 500 or 1000 hours and then I'm sure they'll be magical.

By the time you're on your deathbed, they'll finally be fully burned-in and will give you a glorious last moment wink_face.gif

I have a pair of my grandfather's headphones and they have 2 lifetimes of burn in on them and their sound is priceless, almost as good as the tenore! LMAO

No apology necessary, good sir. I'm sure your grandfather's ear speakers possess amazing clarity and depth of sound, providing an utterly euphoric and immersive listening experience!

Maybe we should start a mini tour with those and a dozen or so wax cylinders?

I think it is time to change the thread name to something more specific like The new IEM line of  Vsonic / VSD series (page 50)...or something

Are these really that good? I was about to buy the GR07 BE. The cheaper price is throwing me off, even if they sound good for the price, are they really worth getting over the GR07 BEs? The GR07 BEs are a bit pricey though and I wonder if its worth spending that much on IEMs, they seem fragile.

Nobody really knows for sure. Only a few newcomers are writing reviews which makes the whole thing unreliable (my apologies). Wait about a week or two for a better answer. Anyway there aren't available anywhere but China at the present time.
