which has more bass? I know the Havi needs an amp to get full potential. Any other differences between them?

The vsd3s has more bass. I've done a full comparison between the two in this thread. Use the "search this thread" tool.

Really? I thought Vsonic stated that the Vsd3 regular has more bass and the vsd3s is more balanced?

If I'm not mistaken the question was between vsd3s and the Havi B3 Pro (original)???????

This shipping is killing me. I ordered from lendmeurears on 7/20 and I'm dying from the wait. They should've been here yesterday or at least today, but it seems like the truck was robbed on the highway or something. :(

Edit: These are the Havi B3 Pro 1's. Posted in wrong thread but still relevant.

Hello Peter123,

can you recommend the VSD 3S to me , who loved the Sony MH1 sound sig/fit a lot, but didn't like the OSTRY KC06A as much?

either of these better than the gr07? sifting through 150 pages is too much.

In a word, no. You've gotta remember, it's half the price. People have said it does some things better, but overall less refined.

Pastapipo is right, the Tenores would be the natural upgrade from the MH1. QC issues makes it hard to recommend though

Altough I don't like MH1C (to boomny bass for me) or KC06 (lacking soundstage depth) as much as many others I'd say that general soundsignature of the VSD3S is more in line with the KC06 than MH1.

Can anyone compare the VSD3S to the VSD1S?

I skimmed through the thread but didn't find anything, feel free to link if it's been done.

Bass: equal, I found 1S a little more boomy

Mid: 3S

High: 3S, less sibilance

Comfort: unquestionably 1S
