Can't tell you. There are a lot of bad people trying to get me and if they find out my location they'll send ninja assassins after me.

No problem, I'm happy we could help. I can also say for sure now that VSD3S is the better choice than the VSD1.

Thanks for your first impressions I enjoyed reading it.

Glad you liked it. Your initial thoughts are what led me to pull the trigger on these. :beerchug:

So, I rolled a few tips on these, and the stock medium single flanges are still my favorite. The smoky grey tips from newer Brainwavz stuff bring the mids forward, and the treble back a little. Made vocals a little more forward, but it took away some of the details in the treble. I'd guess it's because of the stock medium tips are deeper even thought they have the same bore size. I missed the acoustic guitar shimmer and the tight snare drum pops so I went back to the stock singles. If you like a little less treble and want the mids forward though, Brainwavz or Sony Hybrids could help. The stock double flanges seem to balance things out a bit too, but they're hard for me to get a seal with.

Do you have logitech ue tips? They can bring back those details without sounding distant. They are far better than Sony hybrids.

No, I don't have them. The closest thing I have to the way those look are the Auvio hybrids or the single flange from (I believe) the NE-700X, but both are slightly too big for the nozzle and make the treble pretty harsh.

How are you guys wearing your VSD3S?
Straight down or around the ear?

Over the ear of course.

Has anyone experienced custom fees from ordering over seas? I'm curious if I'll have to pay since I ordered from penon audio

Waiting until the VSD3 comes before opening the VSD3S    .... but it will be over the ear.

Is there any down side to wearing them straight down? I have never used earphones over the ear before.

They'll stick out like a sore thumb and you may not be able to get good insertion or seal. Not that you can't do it, but it's awkward and not the way the IEM is designed.

No customs fees here, but I'm in the US and I got mine from LMUE. Only problem with mine was there was no accessory pack, which was weird, but not a big deal.

Really? It's my childish sense of humor I use online to lighten the mood - in real life I'm extremely sarcastic and downright offend people but I'll get myself banned if I do it here. And you're welcome.

Just a small downside - they don't fit cable down

Well, it's different on each country... guess a canadian must answer this one.

Straight-down uses to produce undesirable "microphonics" when touching the cable; over-the-ear practically extinguishes them... much better.

Mate, guess you should claim a pack from LMUE. I had a problem with them before, and they were very friendly on helping. Very honest people.
