I came home to a loud and interesting package! Pink & green.

I was worried to see condensation in the package! Is that typical? Either way the phones weren't effected.

Damn it seems like the hype train has completely run aground? I'm not sure if my extensive impressions would be worth anything as I'm really new to this but I will say it drives  easily(?). I'm listening to it at the lowest volume and it's still very enjoyable.  I have pretty small ears and they fit well. I got a great seal / isolation on the stock tips. They're very lightweight so once you have a good seal you can leave them in / forget about them. Actually one ear feels sore / like it stretching right now so...

I loved the hk1. For the price it was awesome. IMHO it destroyed the Pistons. The only knock I had was that it got a little bright and treble was tinny on some songs. From low end to mids it sounded very high end, and fantastic all around at lower volumes.

So what`s the hk1? :confused_face_2:

One friend have the IF Piston, they aren`t really better than mine SHE3580, IMO

It's a budget iem from a diy brand by the name of sidy. They provide great quality at a low price. Model was called the hk1,and they recently came out with an hk2. If it's an improvement over the hk1 these should be great. PS they're under $20 usd.

Don't worry about it, I'm excited to hear any opinions on it. I'm also suddenly intrigued by these HK2s, lol.

Oh well
I'm still excited to receiving my vsd3s, I finally got the tracking # and they're going to ship it later today :)
This will be my very first pair of IEM, as I have been using YUIN PK3 for a long time, hopefully the vsd3s will perform greater than or equal to the pk3

Haha. Kova says they aren't as good as the Nobles and that the details are on par with the VSD1 and y'all start jumping off the train? I don't think there's any reason to abandon ship just yet. Peter says they sound great and compete well against 60-70 dollar stuff. Shane, who didn't dig them, admitted they were pretty good, but not his thing. Kova picked them apart becuase people asked for a critical review, but also said they're very good phones. Plus, he hasn't spent time with them properly yet.

We may not be throwing a party on the hype train, but we don't exactly need to be jumping out the windows either. More reviews should start coming in and people will update and compare them. It's gonna be ok guys. Deep breaths. ;)

Ha, I'm just having fun is all. Kova4a was feeling like crap at the time, and it was his initial impressions, and the impressions weren't all that bad anyway. So no big deal, and a lot more impressions will be pouring in soon. Long live the vsd3's! (until the vsd5's come along that is!)
