I think the latest offerings by VSonic closes the gap, and that you don't need to pay over $100 to get the same sound. The VSD1S is very close to the GR07 and can be worn cable down, as well as around ear (though the channels will be swapped). It also avoids the sibilance that I hear on some songs. The cable on the VSD1S are thinner than GR07BE, but the GR07BE has way more accessories (the colorful silicone tips are great).

I am very interested in which VSD3 version is the better one and get it later this year.

It seems that the regular VSD3 sound better than the VSD3S when compared to the GR07 based on reviews so far, but you ever know.

Hi I own Shure Se535 ltd IEMs, I was wondering how does VSD 3S compare with it. because they claim they have "the same sound signature"
thanks guys.

Is the VSD 3s cable SHURE compatible?.. i was going to order a new cable for the SE535ltd, the actual is not working properly, but they are pretty expensive, besides the Oyaide HPC-SE which cost around 50-60€.
But in case VSD 3s cable can be used with the SHURE Se535ltd maybe is not a bad idea to have both IEMs. Main reason because I want to see how a dynamic driver compares with the shure micro drivers. 99% of time i listen to music at very low volume with a non amped source.

thanks in advance

Think so,that the cable might fit 535s so they claimed 535ish BUT, YET to confirm about the size(dia of the mmcx connector)........waiting on somebody to confirm the cable/connector compatible as well, besides sound, who has both models. But might take some time to see the answer......

Ouch, replacing an SE 535's cable sounds expensive. Hopefully we'll get more thoughts on the VSD3S cable and see if it's compatible

For the record, i dont expect the same SS of the GR07 series, i just think its interesting how they will fare against.

Also against other earphones with a higher price, that the vsd3 is suppose to be better or same.

Inquisition? wink.gif

I just what to make clear that the KC06 are damn good for $60 but for my preference they don't satisfy nearly as much as the B3, Tenores, AX-35 and VSD3S. YMMV!

Have you ever tried shure 535ltd? Or any other shure IEMs? How is the sound compared to The VSD3S?

Ok, so my package has been processed and released, so if something doesn't go wrong along the way, I'll get the vsd3s tomorrow morning and I'll start bashing on it right away.

The VSD3S is going to be my first Vsonic (when they finally do ship).  Just curious, what is Vsonic's QC track record?  Are they known for putting out quality products?

Thanks.

They have more than average quality materials. I had Vsonic GR04pro, GR02, VC01, GR07 BE in the past. They are robust enough but mind you that I'm very picky with my toys. :D
