Looks like lmue will receive the stock from vsonic as scheduled? As there's no update yesterday and today about shipments on their FB space.

What tips do you use?

I've got pretty small ears but with the stock doubleflanged tips I don't even feel that they're there.

Anyone had a chance to do a direct A/B between the VSD3 and the VSD3S?  I'm thinking it may be too early for something like this.  If not, what is the advertised difference between the two?  I can't find anything on lendmeurears or vsonic.com.

Thanks.

VS3D is supposed to be tuned like the 535 VSD3S is supposed to be tuned like the 4R.

IIRC that statement has been revised and the last one said that they're both tuned like 4R with the VSD3 having more bass.

My memory might be wrong though since it's been so  much conflicting information.

Nah, it was confirmed that both versions are tuned similar to the westones and supposedly the difference is only in the bass department - probably will be something like the vsd1 vs vsd1s difference - nothing major, so I don't think there will really be a reason to own both.

@peter123 Can you do a direct comparison VSD3S vs. Havi?

Yes, but not right now . I'd like to get some more time with the VSD3S first. I'll make it in a day or two.

Thanks.  I like a bigger bass so the VSD3 would probably be the one for me.  Another question, from the shape of these, it looks like the only way to wear them would be with cable over the ear.  Is this correct or can they be worn with the cable straight down?

Thanks again.

Yes, they're made to be worn over ear and doesn't seem to fit good any other way.

Well, that's a deterrent.  I got rid of TF10s a couple of years back for that reason.  Never could get them to stay in my ears.  Now that I think about it, that could have been due to the cable.  So I probably shouldn't stereotype all over the ear form factors based on my experience with the TF10.

The stock single flange tips......earcanal fit might be ok but the shell (where it fits on concha) i was referring to.
