Noob needing recommendations and advice

Hi guys, new to the forums, I have been reading and researching here and there, trying to pick up on the massive amounts of information on here. I recently picked up the Sennheiser Momentums, which I like quite a bit, but the earcups are a bit small for me, although I like them so much more than some other headphones I've tried that I'm willing to tolerate it.  Although looking at trying the V-Moda M100s, which have gotten very positive reviews from those who own them. A question I have is, would the Senheiser Momentum benefit from a DAC amp like the V-moda Verza? I see its paired quite often with the M100s. How do the M-100s compare to the momentums?

Verza is going to improve almost any headphone, compared to an ipod or most popular dap. I personally prefer the momentums, as they have better clarity.

Yeah the Momentums are called full size but I would say there really big earpad head phones, I thought they were very soft and comfy however.

The momentums don't NEED and amp to power them, they are very easy to drive, however they are a "good" enough headphone that I'm pretty sure there would be a noticeable improvement from directly out of an ipod to using an amp/dac, but I don't know much about the vamp versa.

The M-100 is a lot different than the Momentums, more forward sounding, more bass and impact, more treble, V-shaped? A little less resolving. They fold up. They are just compared a lot because they came out at around the same time, are both closed and close in price.
