Amp recommendation for Maddogs

Thread Starter

I'm looking for an amp to pair my Maddogs with and later perhaps an IEM down the road. (Altough I think those won't need amplification?). The amp doesn't have to be portable.

Currently looking at:

-Vintage amps

-Fiio E10

-Fiio E12

-Schiit Magni

-Schiit Asgard 2

I've also heard that there are amp manufacturers on this forum actively trying to recommended their most expensive amp possible. I obviously don't want to fall prey to that sort of practice.

I just want to have the best value for my buck.

I also forgot to add: if the amp has 2 inputs that would be a great plus.

That's a lot of bumping buddy.

First things  first: price range? portability? Specific make of your headphones?

Will not have to be portable, would like an amp that isn't ridiculously pricey (like over 300 dollars).

Stop with the bumping already.  Go to the Maddogs thread and see what amps the users are using.
